The item is sold to the highest bidder unless the item has a reserve. A reserve is the minimum amount the seller will take for a particular item. Should the reserve not be met, then the item will not be sold. 

At Craven Auction Company LLC, we are a locally owned and operated auction company. We bring together the buyer and seller in a fun, fair, and competitive environment. Our auction services and auction house are family-friendly and offer an outlet for anyone looking to buy or sell. 

Anyone can be a bidder. Registered bidders can bid on items at an auction. To register to bid, an individual must provide proof of identity and/or be able to provide personal demographic information. In certain specialty auctions, more detailed information and specific requirements must be met.

At Craven Auction Company LLC, we make it very easy for individuals to register to bid. We have a very convenient QR code that lets you register from your smartphone, OR one of our friendly staff will be happy to assist you. Our auctioneer is patient and won't just assume that you scratching your nose is a bid!

For example, an estate auction typically liquidates an estate's assets and can be held at the estate, at an auction house, and/or online. Consignment and dealer auctions can occur at an auction house and/or online. Dealer and consignment auctions contain a collection of specialty items or a varied assortment of merchandise.
